JOINT ASIAN CONFERENCE ON BUSINESS AND ECONOMIC STUDIES
6th ACBES - 8th GARCOMBS - 2nd ICONICS

The joint Asian Conference on Business and Economic Studies will be co-organised by three institutions including University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) (Vietnam), Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD) (Indonesia), and Udayana University (UNUD) (Indonesia). This conference is jointly incorporated from the previous prestigious conferences such as the 6th Asian Conference on Business and Economic Studies (6th ACBES), the 8th Global Advance Research Conference on Management and Business Studies (8th GARCOMBS) and the International Conference on Economics and Business Udayana University (2nd ICONICS). This joint conference will be hosted at Udayana University – Bali, Indonesia on August 28 – 30, 2024.
In addition, this joint conference foster and strengthen a dialogue between junior and experienced researchers, policy makers and practitioners, with a view to enhance our collective understanding of the role and functioning of business and economic studies in regional areas.

SUBMISSION PATH
- Doctoral Colloquium and Workshops (Aug 28th) hosted by GARCOMBS and ACBES for PhD students and early-career researchers to present their current research outputs with the intensive training workshops in contemporary topics.
- Main Conference (Aug 29th) hosted by ACBES for regular researchers who introduce their research findings contributing to literature aiming at publication in our partnered journals.
- Community services and social activities (Aug 30th) hosted by ICONICS will be focusing on dissemination of community services report/project that have been done as a form of real contribution to solving social, economic, and environmental problems.
TOPICS
We invite contributions to a wide range of topics in Business and Economics. While we are particularly interested in research addressing issues pertinent to Asia or those that are of current relevance to the region, we also welcome studies in traditional and emerging areas of Business and Economics. We are open to considering both theoretical frameworks and empirical analyses.
