Aims & Scope

With technology evolving rapidly and data becoming increasingly abundant, there is a growing demand for professionals who can make informed decisions based on data analytics. This topic has been in discussion in the academic circle in the last few years, but as of now there is no dedicated teaching case SI or repository on this topic. By positioning the special issue around this theme, we are addressing a pressing need in the field of management education. This SI will provide a wealth of case studies that academics can use to impact the knowledge and practical insights of future managers and leaders.

This SI will offer a unique and valuable contribution by bridging the gap between theory and practice, enhancing educational experiences, and addressing the evolving needs of the business landscape. It's a win-win for academia and industry alike!

Indicative themes

Submissions should be relevant to the topic of the special issue in order to be considered. Authors may be interested in the following potential and indicative themes:
1 - Supply Chain Optimization
2 - Innovation in Healthcare

4 - Analytics for Fraud Detection and Prevention in Financial Transactions
5 - Data-driven Recruitment and Talent Acquisition Strategies
6 - People Analytics for Employee Performance Management
7 - Social Media Analytics: Leveraging Big Data for Targeted Marketing Campaigns
8 - Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Reporting: Using Data to Measure and Monitor Impact

Given the global focus on data analytics, authors are encouraged to reflect on the opportunities to examine the themes listed above, among others, within the context of emerging markets.
