The role of Board members:

In general, Editorial Advisory Board members are journal ambassadors; they promote the journal to potential readers, authors and subscribers. Members also review and write papers for the journal, hence the board partly sets the calibre of papers and is crucial for the quality of the journal. This is a voluntary role with no fixed time commitments.

The main responsibilities of Editorial Board members include:

  • Reviewing journal articles as requested by the Editor;
  • Submitting your own articles to the journal;
  • Encouraging article submissions from your own networks and at conferences;
  • Proposing themes for future issues or guest editing a special issue of the journal;
  • Offering guidance and feedback on what the journal is doing well, or could be doing better

Why become a member of the Editorial Advisory Board?

  • Your name and affiliation will be included in the editorial team listing in the journal and on all relevant journal literature.
  • You will receive a complimentary online subscription to the journal for the duration of your association with the journal.
  • This is a great opportunity to contribute to the fields of corrosion prevention, as well as academia and scholarly debates.
  • Opportunities to network with colleagues and peers and influence the journal’s future development.

The Application process
Please express an interest to the journal publisher, Ms Summer Wang, at [email protected]. Please include your current CV and briefly explain the main reasons you would like to join the Board, and what you think you can bring to the journal.
