2023 AABS/Emerald Competitions Winners Announced

Emerging Markets Case Studies

Emerald Publishing and the Association of African Business Schools (AABS) are pleased to announce the winners of the 2023 AABS Case Writing Competition.

The aim of the competition is to encourage and promote the development of high-quality teaching case material relevant to the realities of dynamic and emerging markets in Africa. At the same time, we also seek to promote the development of case-writing capabilities within this region, so that instructors and students alike can see a wider variety of cases reflecting their unique contexts. This year we received nearly 20 submissions from several African countries, including Uganda, Nigeria, and Senegal, among others.

The winning cases are:

First Place

Livestock Wealth: Crowd Farming for Wealth Creation

It is our pleasure to work with the AABS to support the development of case writers in African emerging economies.
