International Journal of Information & Learning Technology (IJILT) is pleased to announce the creation of an Early Career Review Board.

IJILT has decided to develop an Early Career Review Board (ECRB) to provide Early Career Researchers the means to participate within a journal publishing environment and to be involved in developing IJILT with the editors and associate editors. IJILT is designed to provide a forum for the sharing of the latest research and applications of educational technologies.

Selected applicants will be appointed to the ECRB for 3 years, after which there may be the opportunity to be appointed to the Editorial Review Board (ERB) in consultation with the editor. Each member is expected to review 3 to 4 new papers per year. There will be an introductory meeting to discuss the publication process and any questions. Training will be provided for Emerald’s submission system ScholarOne.

The application process requires an email to the Editor, Glenn Hardaker, with a statement, approximately 400 words, on why you hope to be involved in the Review Board. Early Career Researchers will need to demonstrate research publications in internationally recognized journals in the field of education.
