Professor Chee Yew Wong from Leeds University Business School, University of Leeds (UK), was appointed as new Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal pf Physical Distribution & Logistics Management by Emerald on 1st April 2020. Professor Wong thanks Professor Alexander Ellinger from the University of Alabama, who had held this position for nine years (2010-2019), Professor Glenn Richey Jr, who co-edited the journal with Professor Ellinger (2010-2013), and Professor Benjamin Hazen from Air Force Institute, who held this position from 2019, for their dedication and hard work in making the journal one of the leading journals in logistics and supply chain management, as demonstrated by its rankings and impact metrics. Professor Wong and his board of editors are committed to provide authors and the community with "best in class" service through timeliness and fairness in the review process with an emphasis on inclusivity and fostering meaningful research impact.
