About the Journal of Money Laundering Control

The Journal of Money Laundering Control (JMLC) provides detailed analysis and insight on the latest issues in the law, regulation and control of money laundering and related matters. JMLC provides a valuable contribution to both an international academic and professional audience, as authors include not only leading scholars, but those directly involved at policy and operational levels in fighting money laundering.

Review process

Reviews are performed on the ScholarOne Manuscripts submissions platform; it is easy to create an account here. When creating your profile, it is important to add in your areas of expertise to ensure you are invited to review appropriate manuscripts.

ScholarOne provides some guidance for new reviewers, which may help if you are new to reviewing and/or the ScholarOne platform. Emerald also offers some key dos and don'ts for reviewing.

If you are unable to review the manuscript you are sent, we value recommendations for suitable alternative individuals who may be eligible to review if you must decline the invitation.
