As of 19 July 2022, Emerald Publishing and Hindawi have entered into a publishing partnership agreement whereby Emerald’s open access journal Mental Illness will be transferred to the Hindawi portfolio.

Mental Illness journal is now published and hosted by Hindawi but remains an Emerald Publishing owned title.
