Call for Early Career Reviewers!

Pacific Accounting Review

Pacific Accounting Review (PAR) is pleased to announce the creation of an Early Career Review Board.

PAR is a quarterly journal publishing empirical and theoretical research into current developments in accounting and finance with a particular emphasis on research from the Pacific region.

As strong believers in positive change, PAR has decided to develop an Early Career Review Board (ECRB) to give Early Career Researchers the means to participate within a journal publishing environment and to be involved in developing PAR for the community along with the editors .

Selected applicants will be appointed to the ECRB for 3 years, after which there may be the opportunity to be appointed to the Editorial Advisory Board (EAB) in consultation with the editor. Each member is expected to review 3 to 4 new papers per year. There will be an introductory meeting to discuss the publication process and any questions. Training will be provided for Emerald’s submission system ScholarOne.

The application process is simple – please email the editor-in-chief, Professor Tom Scott, with a statement (no more than 400 words) on why you would like to be involved in the Review Board.  Please also mention your primary areas of research expertise. Early career researchers are those who have been awarded a doctoral degree in the past 5 years (excluding career breaks).
