PSU Research Review: An International Interdisciplinary Journal is very sad to have report the death of Professor V. Lynn Meek on 13th March 2022.

Professor V. Lynn Meek was one of our honorary consulting editors since 2016. 

Professor V. Lynn Meek was the Foundation Director of the LH Martin Institute at the University of Melbourne and late Editor-in-Chief of Studies in Higher Education. Lynn was Professor and Director of the Centre for Higher Education Management and Policy at the University of New England. Having completed a PhD in the sociology of higher education at the University of Cambridge, he had nearly three decades’ experience researching higher education policy issues.

He had attracted numerous competitive research grants. Lynn published 30 books and monographs and numerous scholarly articles and book chapters. He was on the editorial board of several international journals and book series and worked with such international agencies as UNESCO and the OECD.

It is hard to say goodbye to someone. He is going to be sorely missed. He will always be in our hearts.
