Environmental Sociology
We are seeking short-form Emerald Points proposals that investigate the relationships between social systems and the ecosphere, including interactions within and between institutions, social groups, and natural and built environments.
Proposals might also consider the origins and impacts of technology, the social causes of environmental change, the environmental causes of social change, the consequences of social inequalities and power relationships for socio-environmental dynamics, how people in societies perceive environmental problems, the relationships between population, health, and the environment, globalization, and the mechanisms behind environmental injustice.
