Aims and scope

Surveys have shown that corrosion contributes to costs of about 3%-5% of GDP. It is accepted that corrosion affects a wide range of industries and applications, from infrastructure and transportation to energy production and electronics. Corrosion can lead to material degradation, structural damage, and failure, with significant economic and safety implications. Therefore, the prevention, mitigation, and control of corrosion are crucial for ensuring the reliability, safety, and sustainability of various systems and processes.

Anti-Corrosion Methods and Materials (ACMM) is a peer-reviewed journal that focuses on the scientific and engineering aspects of corrosion prevention and control. The journal publishes high-quality research articles, review papers, and technical notes that contribute to the understanding of fundamental corrosion science problems and applied corrosion engineering issues.
