The International Journal of Health Care Quality Assurance (IJHCQA) provides a forum for current thinking on the theoretical and practical aspects of quality and management in health care and helps to develop and continuously improve health care organisations. The journal offers a definition of quality within the context of health care, examines managerial and planning methods and discusses the implications of introducing and maintaining quality initiatives.
