Aims and Scope

The Journal of Adult Protection (JAP) uniquely bridges the gap between research and practice. It is the only journal to address developments in safeguarding across all adult service user groups.

JAP's multidisciplinary, international coverage reflects the broad community of researchers and professionals involved in the analysis and delivery of safeguarding vulnerable people from abuse.

The journal offers vital access to innovative research, considers implications for practice and presents viewpoints and commentary on current policy and practice in this important field.

JAP publishes peer-reviewed and vital evidence to inform future research and working for everyone involved in adult protection, safeguarding and related agendas.
