Leadership & Human Capital Creation

Guest Editors: Prof Nicholas Clarke and Dr Jason J Turner
The specific aims of this Special Issue are to provide insight into the role leadership play in cultivating human capital and organizational learning within businesses in a digitally disruptive marketplace. This research topic is a recurrent theme in practitioner and academic literature mainly in the context of the leader’s role in developmental performance management with opportunities for further contributions to existing knowledge.
This Special Issue will take research forward in two ways: firstly, through examining the role leadership plays in developing human capital and secondly through providing insight into the impact of transformational leadership, employee creativity and HRD on organisational performance. We would welcome empirical or conceptual papers that seek to further understanding in this area.

Research is invited which addresses the following topics:
•    Developmental performance management
•    Transformational leadership in a disruptive business environment
•    Organisational learning
•    HRD practices and leadership
•    Transformational leadership and employee creativity
•    Innovative behaviour and creative performance
•    Human capital and leadership behavior
