4th International Case Study Conference: The Future of Case Method. December 14-15 2023, IBS Hyderabad, India

IBS Hyderabad Case Research Center (IBS-CRC) in partnership with The Case Centre, UK, Centre for Educational and Social Studies (CESS), Bangalore, India, and Emerald Publishing, invite case authors to participate in the 4th International Case Study Conference and present their unpublished case studies.

Case studies are invited across the following categories:

Embracing Sustainability in Business - An Emerging Markets Perspective. Submit unpublished cases on sustainable practices of firms in emerging markets in Finance & Accounting, Marketing, General Management & Strategy, IT, Systems and Operations Management; and HR functions.

Management Lessons from Indian Knowledge Systems. Submit unpublished cases addressing Indian knowledge systems for sustainable development, management insights from Arthashastra, leadership lessons from Indian ancient scriptures, lessons on ethics from Dharma Shastras; and ancient Indian farming practices.

Faculty members and research scholars committed to improving their case writing skills are warmly invited to attend, as well as industry practitioners with an interest in case writing, and corporate trainers willing to explore innovative training approaches.

Mentoring support will be offered to all case authors selected for presentation, and cases selected for conference awards will be mentored and offered editorial support by award-winning case writers from IBS.

Participants should submit cases by October 30, 2023, to [email protected]. Please note that participants are expected to present their case studies in person during the conference.

Publication of Selected Case Studies

Case studies selected for presentation in the Embracing Sustainability in Business - An Emerging Markets Perspective category will have an opportunity to be published in Emerald Emerging Markets Case Studies (EEMCS). All submissions will have to go through a double-blind peer review process as per Emerald's standards, and conform to EEMCS author guidelines (https://www.emeraldgrouppublishing.com/journal/emcs

All the cases that are considered for publications must have a teaching note, and must pass editorial checks by the publisher. Submission of a case study to the conference does not guarantee publication. Authors my be asked to revise their cases based on reviewer feedback. Publication is based on acceptance by EEMCS, and discretion of the Editor.
