Emerald partners with The Case Writing Centre at The University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business (UCT GSB)

6th July 2020

Emerald has been publishing case studies since 2014 and is continuing to grow a diverse portfolio of teaching cases to support experiential learning. They now publish over 2,000 cases and teaching notes with content from over 70 countries. The Case Writing Centre at UCT GSB is dedicated to creating local teaching case studies, spearheading African cases, and propelling participant-centred learning. The two are partnering to provide exclusive new content from the Case Writing Centre.

The new cases will be available as part of Emerald’s eCase Collection, a comprehensive portfolio of teaching cases from and will sit alongside licensed partner content from Darden School of Business, Kellogg School of Management, Fudan University School of Management, Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.

Tony Roche, Director, Publishing & Strategic Relationships at Emerald, says: "Our approach to case publishing means providing local content that can be used globally. The best way of doing this is by complementing our own channels with a partnership such as this with an extremely innovative and exciting case centre."

Claire Barnardo, Case Writing Centre Manager at UCT GSB highlights Emerald’s "remarkable platform for excellent and relevant business teaching cases" as the primary reason for choosing to partner with them.

The cases are available on Emerald Insight and are accessible now for all eCase Collection Subscribers.
