Introduction

Our Special Issue entitled "Recent Progress in Tribology in China" intends to serve as an innovative platform for developments and contributions emerging from the tribological research landscape in China. In this regard, China, with its burgeoning research community and rapidly advancing technological landscape, has been at the forefront of tribological research. This Special Issue aims at bringing together a diverse collection of cutting-edge research articles, reviews, and insights that collectively highlight the nation's significant advances regarding an advanced understanding of tribological phenomena.

The collection spans a wide array of topics within the realm of tribology, addressing both fundamental principles and practical applications. Researchers and experts from academic institutions, research laboratories, and industry across China are expected to contribute their expertise to provide a holistic view of the current state of tribological research in the country.

This Special Issue welcomes original research articles, review papers, and perspectives that contribute to advance the understanding of tribology and its practical applications. Submissions should highlight recent achievements within the Chinese tribological research community and offer insights that can influence the global landscape of tribology.
