International Perspectives on Health Equity (IPHEE) is an interdisciplinary open access journal focused on new, innovative research that contributes to understanding work towards achieving global health equity. It emphasizes intersections between sustainability and health, including social, cultural, political, economic, and system level dimensions of health. To this end, the journal is committed to the publication of research and learning that aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Aims and scope

Ensuring equity across healthcare systems and services is a vital component towards the delivery of Sustainable Development Goal 3 and the global goal of good health and wellbeing for all. International Perspectives on Health Equity (IPHEE) aims to highlight the challenges of health equity but also to celebrate, promote and learn from the successful research, policy and practice that is happening in this arena. Content published will aim to engage, advance, challenge and reframe debates about healthy equity.

The journal is international and interdisciplinary in coverage as a reflection that health equity and maintaining healthy lives and wellbeing for all needs a collaboration of disciplines and approaches.
