The Journal of Health Organization and Management (JHOM) is inviting applications from researchers, academics and practitioners to join our editorial board. 

The journal supports the application of health organization and management research into practice from a diverse range of perspectives. JHOM provides an international forum for the exchange of innovative and methodologically diverse studies and analyses.

We invite applications from people working across the spectrum of research, policy and practice in health management to reflect the journal’s growing international presence and impact. We are particularly interested in hearing from colleagues who have expertise in specific methodologies, such as quantitative analysis techniques, statistics and innovative qualitative approaches, including artificial intelligence.

Overview of editorial board role requirements:

  • Selected applicants will be appointed to the editorial board for an initial period of 2 years. 
  • Each member is expected to review up to 5 new papers per year (including revisions). 
  • Members are requested to attend or contribute to online editorial board meetings once or twice a year.
  • Members are asked to help to raise the journal’s profile by promoting the journal within their professional networks  through sharing articles and encouraging manuscript submissions
  • Members are asked to suggest topics for special issues and other areas for calls for papers
