In order to better cope with climate change issues and achieve sustainable development, we select highly relevant articles published in the Journal of Modelling in Management to compose this virtual issue. These articles cover various aspects of sustainable operations management and low-carbon and green supply chain management.
This virtual issue helps to learn from existing studies on sustainable operations management, including product design, inventory management, innovation with green service, sustainability assessment, emerging information technology adoption, etc. It facilitates a quick overview of a range of different research questions and the current state of research on these issues from the perspective of supply chains.
