The CASE Journal 2023 Best Case Award

The CASE Journal

Emerald Publishing and The CASE Journal are pleased to announce the winners of the 2023 Best Case award.

Every year, the editorial team at The CASE Journal selects one case from the previous year's volume which they feel best demonstrates the aims of the journal. This case is announced at the Eastern Academy of Management (EOM) Annual Conference, and the authors awarded a prize of $1,000 for their contribution. This award is hosted in collaboration with our partner the CASE Association.

In 2023, TCJ was pleased to publish 46 cases from 16 different countries. While the quality of each of these cases made the decision quite difficult, the winner of the 2023 Best Case Award this year is:

Bad apples or poisonous tree? Corporate culture's role in the Wells Fargo scandal
Deborah M Mullen, The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, USA
Kathleen Wheatley, The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, USA
Nai Lamb, The University of Chattanooga, USA

The editorial team would also like to recognize two other cases as finalists:

Amit Kumar Agrawal, International Institute of Information Technology - Naya Raipur, India

Second Runner-up: Tesla, Inc.: addressing ESG challenges
