Announcing Technological Sustainability

Technological Sustainability

Emerald Publishing proudly announces the launch of Technological Sustainability.

This journal is interdisciplinary and attract contributions from a wide range of fields. It focuses upon how scientific and engineering developments can contribute towards future sustainability. It is open to research led papers, theoretical papers, literature reviews and even speculative papers. The journal is now open for submissions through ScholarOne.

Although it is accepted that sustainability has an increasing importance in the world and is vital to out future, it seems at the moment that concerns for sustainability are confined to either the scientific or  business fields, with no overlapping discourse. Similarly, concerns for social responsibility are confined to business or more general ethics areas, and largely ignored by the scientific community. There is much to be gained from bringing these discourses together for mutual consideration and this is the purpose of this new journal, an official journal for the SRRNet.
