Bingley, United Kingdom, 3 July 2018 – For the past 25 years, Emerald Publishing has rewarded outstanding and impactful contributions to scholarly research via the prestigious Emerald Literati Awards for Excellence.
The Awards for Excellence is still one of the largest, independent award schemes led by a publisher. Established to celebrate and reward the outstanding contributions made by Emerald’s scholarly community, these awards help strengthen the impact of the winning research and support the author’s scholarly journey by providing the recognition and international kudos they deserve.
Judged by Emerald’s journal and book series editorial boards based on the ability to demonstrate excellence and impact in their field, the Emerald Literati Awards for Excellence fall into the following categories:
- Outstanding and Highly Commended papers – the backbone of the awards for excellence, these awards reward the most impressive pieces of work published throughout the previous year;
- Outstanding Reviewers – rewarding reviewers for ensuring that every paper published makes a genuine impact to the academic field;
- and Outstanding Author Contributions (book series) - rewards authors who have contributed something new and significant to their area of knowledge.
Caitlin Cornish, Head of Publishing at Emerald, said: “We understand that writing and reviewing high quality research papers takes a lot of time and dedication. We’re committed to supporting our author and reviewer community along their research journey and it is an honour to be able to provide global recognition to those who have made a significant impact within their respective field.
“All winners have been selected based on their research excellence, rigour and relevance. These awards not only celebrate this, but also help to enhance the dissemination and impact of their work.
“Congratulations to all of this year’s winners”.
To celebrate the hard work undertaken by all of our winning authors and reviewers, the outstanding research papers are free to access to for one year, and the highly commended papers are free to access for six months: http://www.emeraldgrouppublishing.com/authors/literati/awards.htm?year
