Aims and scope

Management Research (MRJIAM), the official journal of The Iberoamerican Academy of Management (an affiliate of the Academy of Management), provides a rigorous forum for the publication of high-quality peer-reviewed articles covering all major disciplines in management with an interest in Iberoamerican issues.

Articles, including review articles, empirical and conceptual, which display thoughtful, accurate research and be rigorous in all regards, are most welcome. Authors can submit their papers in English, Spanish or Portuguese for review purposes, although all papers are published in English only.

Management Research welcomes papers, including cross-disciplinary work, on the following areas (but is not limited to):

  • Human Resource Management

  • Organizational Behaviour
  • Organization Theory
  • Corporate Governance
  • Managerial Economics
  • Cross Cultural Management

The journal seeks to provide a rapid peer review process (the average timeframe from submission to initial decision in 2016 was 32 days) with high-quality reviews from leading scholars in the field (including the members of the Editorial Advisory Board) and works with authors to bring papers of high quality to publication.
