Introduction to the team

Our Asia team covers Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Laos, with colleagues based in Taipei city and Bangkok city. Our team can speak five languages, and we're always eager to support academic communities and scholarly activities across the region.  

Our passionate and professional team members are proud to work with more than 230 universities and research/learning institutions in the region, allowing us to engage and serve diverse scholar communities for disseminating the real impact of inspiring research which benefits the real world.

Winners of the Emerald Young Researcher Award 2021


Emerald Publishing East Asia & Asia team has announced the winners of Emerald Young Researcher Award 2021 which celebrates academic works and research efforts in supporting #RealImpact, community engagement and alignment to UNSDG Goals.

The award received many submissions from researchers in the region including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

The winners

The judging panel, comprising experts in impact and various disciplines across science & technology, social science and business management, assessed the submissions based on the originality and contribution the entries demonstrated in research and/or practice, and the impact the entries brought and committed to achieving to the society or the community concerned.

The winners are as follows, in no particular order:
