Fadi Alkaraan is Associate Professor of Accounting, Governance & Sustainability. Fadi has been appointed Visiting Professor EM Normandie Business School (AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS) (Dubai) 2023-2024. Affiliate Professor (Research Fellowship Programme) at Gulf Finance Centre, Gulf University for Science & Technology (AACSB), Kuwait (2023-2024), Affiliate Professor at the Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Dubai, UAE (2022-2023), Affiliated Professor (2020) at Jinan University (Lebanon), Affiliate PhD /DBA supervisor at Gloucestershire University (2020-to date).

Fadi promoted to Associate Professor of Accounting and Finance at Aleppo University (2012). Fadi joined the University of Lincoln (2018) as Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance Fadi is Certified Global Business Analyst, and Certified Management Accountant (Institute of Certified Management Accountants, Australia and New Zealand). Fadi is FAIA, Fellow of the Association of International Accountants (AIA), a global membership body for professional accountants.

Calls for submissions

This Business Innovation Strategies, Governance and Sustainability (BISGS) series is aligned with the UNSDGs and rooted in a multidisciplinary perspective. It focuses on research streams from various paradigms, theoretical lenses and mixed method approaches to offer insight from both scholars and practitioners towards a better understanding of the current trends of business innovation strategies and corporate transformation towards governance and sustainability. Given the immense scope of business innovation strategies, governance and sustainability and their relevance to environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance towards ecosystems, this book series can be viewed as a knowledge exchange hub for scholars, practitioners, policymakers, students and other stakeholders.

The series incorporates the influence of technological innovation adoption, Industry 4.0 on green innovation strategies, green supply chain management, green manufacturing processes and green strategic investment decision-making.

Aims and scope

Researchers are invited to contribute to this multidisciplinary perspective by utilising quantitative, qualitative or mixed-method approaches to investigate the fascinating topics underpinning the scope of this book series including business innovation trajectories in different contexts and settings and their impact on sustainability.

Sustainability accounting, finance, management and the influence of national culture and governance structure on business innovation strategies towards sustainable performance and ecosystems. Also incorporated is the influence of technological innovation adoption, Industry 4.0 on green innovation strategies, green supply chain management, green manufacturing processes and green strategic investment decision making. Likewise, the success factors/ challenges associated with business innovation strategies and corporate transformation towards climate governance and net zero economy. Sustainability accounting and governance issues have preeminent place in the socio-economic and political agenda reflecting increased stakeholders concern.
