Emerald Publishing partners with School of Accounting and Finance at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University to publish its China Accounting and Finance Review journal

Emerald Publishing has announced that it has partnered with the School of Accounting and Finance at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University to takeover publishing its China Accounting and Finance Review journal.

Established in 1999, the journal is the first refereed journal of accounting and finance published in China. For more than 20 years, CAFR has been publishing original articles that have implications for accounting and finance issues in China.

To keep abreast of latest developments in research, CAFR welcomes submissions of research papers covering topics related to contemporary accounting and finance issues for all countries or regions outside of China. CAFR now publishes global, rather than just China, topics.

Earlier this year, the journal published its first issue with Emerald which covered topics including executive alumni and corporate social responsibility in China, and the link between managerial ability and tax aggressiveness.

Professor Nancy Lixin Su, Head of School and Accounting at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University commented: "We are very excited to partner with Emerald in the publication of our Journal China Accounting and Finance Review (CAFR). CAFR has a history of more than 20 years. Initially CAFR was established with the aim of disseminating China research to the international community.

“As the journal develops and extends its focus to research on contemporary issues in accounting and finance, we want to enhance the international profile and reach of CAFR through publishing research in a global context. Emerald is a renowned publisher of academic journals. We hold high expectations for our partnership with Emerald.”

The journal’s Managing Editor is Professor Albert Tsang at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
