2025 Emerald/CEEMAN Case Writing Competition Winners announced

Emerald Publishing and The International Association for Management Development in Dynamic Societies (CEEMAN) are pleased to announce the winners of the 2025 Case Writing Competition. 

The competition aims to develop case material relevant to dynamic and emerging economies, and to nurture case-writing capabilities within those countries. We are delighted to have received so many cases this year, with over 50 cases being submitted from 18 different countries.

The winning cases are:

1st Place – The deceitfulness of Steinhoff’s accounting… and how to fix it?

2nd Place – DiDi’s Growth in Latin America: Strategies for Success in Emerging Markets
Syeda Ikrama, ICFAI Business School, India
Syeda Maseeha Qumer, ICFAI Business School, India

3rd Place – From Local Flavor to Global Future: The Chocolate Journey of nDalem Indonesia
Dila Maghrifani, Universitas Selbelas Maret, Indonesia
