The Editorial team of Gender in Management: An International Journal is seeking out new reviewers for 2022. GIM has been on an upward trajectory: we have more than doubled the number of submissions and are also publishing more articles in each volume. GIM is indexed in SSCI with an Impact Factor of 2.293. We are interested in reviewers that have knowledge in the general field of gender in management and leadership.  Reviews are performed on the ScholarOne Manuscripts submissions platform- it is easy to create an account here. When you are creating your account, it is important to add in your areas of expertise so we can select the appropriate manuscripts to be sent to you; it is also helpful to add your methodological preference if you have one  - e.g. ‘quantitative’. We also welcome research students to join the review process as this can be really helpful for their own careers (providing experience for their own submissions in the future, experience to add to CVs, and may help to be invited to the Editorial Review Board in the future), so do consider this if you are a research students or pass on the information if you have research students yourself).

ScholarOne provides some guidance for new reviewers which may help if you have never completed a review before; Emerald also offers some key dos and don’ts for reviewing. We suggest you look at all these links as they contain some really useful information to help you review. If you are unable to review the manuscript you are sent,  it is really useful if you can recommend someone else who might be able to review it (rather than just decline it).

As a thank you for your contributions to the journal, you are entitled to free personal access to up 40 Emerald journal articles (excluding backfiles) on Emerald Insight. This access is valid for a 90-day period from when you receive your access notification. This is just one of the many benefits of becoming a reviewer- Emerald goes into more details about reviewer benefits here.

We hope you are willing to review for Gender in Management!
