The bibliometric analysis technique is widely used to analyze scientific literature in order to identify patterns, trends, and provide valuable insights into the current landscape and future prospects within a specific field. Information Discovery and Delivery has published numerous articles using this technique. This virtual issue highlights a selection of bibliometric analysis articles since 2024, focusing on identifying emerging trends, core themes, and potential future research directions across various fields. We look forward to publishing more papers that utilize the bibliometric analysis technique in our upcoming issues.
