About the Journal 

The International Journal of Manpower is an interdisciplinary journal focussing on quantitative research in Human Resources, Management and Labour Economics. The IJM is a fully-refereed journal published by Emerald, ranked A in the ABDC JQL and sitting in Q1 for both the Web of Science SSCI JCR and Scopus CiteScore. Applications are invited for the honorary post of Associate Editor, specifically in the area of Labour Economics.

Responsibilities

  • Managing manuscript peer review through an online submission system within a reasonable timeframe
  • Abiding by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Guidelines for journal Editors to uphold the highest ethical standards
  • Making final decisions on manuscripts to the Editor, ensuring the quality of accepted papers with awareness of the journal’s article budget for the volume, keeping the Editor in Chief informed throughout
  • Time commitment will not exceed more than a few hours a week

Requirements

  • Applicants should be at least at the rank of Associate Professor
  • Have prior experience as a peer reviewer or member of the Editorial Board of an international research journal
  • Have an established record of published research in the discipline
