Call for Early Career Reviewers!

Industrial Management & Data Systems (IMDS) journal is pleased to announce the creation of an Early Career Reviewer Board!

The interdisciplinary journal Industrial Management & Data Systems brings operations management and information systems research together. Focusing on the impact of new technology within businesses, it covers: green information systems, sustainable supply chains, big data and social media.

As strong believers in positive change and continued learning and development, IMDS has decided to develop an Early Career Review Board (ECRB) to give Early Career Researchers the means to participate within a journal publishing environment and to be involved in developing IMDS for the community along with the editor.

ECRs are expected to have at least 3 years' experience in research (e.g. research assistant/postdoctoral associate/doctoral candidate) and a strong and demonstrated interest in the topics within the journal’s scope.

Selected applicants will be appointed to the ECRB for 3 years, after which there may be the opportunity to be appointed to the Editorial Board (EB) in consultation with the Editorial team. Each member is expected to review 4 to 6 new papers per year. There will be an introductory meeting to discuss the publication process and any questions. Training will be provided for Emerald’s submission system ScholarOne.
