Join us for the 2024 HETL Conference in South Africa, hosted by Nelson Mandela University, from 2 October to 4 October

Bringing together Higher Education professionals and students from across the world to provide a platform for discussion, debate, networking, and collaboration on all aspects of teaching and learning in HE. The 2024 International Higher Education Teaching and Learning Association Conference will be hosted by Nelson Mandela University in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape Province, South Africa.

The theme for the Conference is Universities as change agents in society: Imagining social innovation for sustainable futures.

This will be broken down into the following themes for the conference programme:

• Humanising pedagogy
• Social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Innovation for sustainable futures
• Creating socially engaged and responsive universities

To present at the conference, submit your presentation proposal via the call for papers, where additional information around the themes may also be found.

Abstracts are due by 31 July 2024.
