Best Paper Awards on Journal of Economics and Development 2019-2024
The Journal of Economics and Development (JED), National Economics University, is pleased to announce the winners of the Best Paper Award and the Runner-up for Best Paper Award for outstanding research published on JED from 2019 to 2024.
The Best Paper Award is individually established by Journal of Economics and Development, in parallel to Literati Award of Emerald Publishing.
The Best Paper Award is presented to the paper entitled “The environment, social and governance (ESG) activities and profitability under COVID-19: Evidence from the global banking sector” by authors Mui Kuen Yuen, Thanh Ngo, Tu D.Q. Le, and Tin H. Ho for their originality, academic rigor, and important theoretical and practical contributions.

For the theoretical contributions and potential impact on scholarly discourse, two runners-up for the Best Paper Award were selected:
