JED operates under Diamond Open Access model without any charge to authors

Important Notice: Beware of publication fee scam

The Journal of Economics and Development (JED) wishes to alert the authors that certain individuals have been fraudulently soliciting publication fees from authors in the journal's name.

As clearly stated in the Aim and Scope, JED is published as a Diamond Open Access journal via Emerald Publishing Services Partnership with funding from the National Economics University (Vietnam). As such, we declare that JED does not charge authors any fees under any circumstances, as we highlighted in Transparency Statement, and any such request is therefore fraudulent, and can only be seen as a scam. 
 

The recent impersonation attempts to undermine academic integrity, and JED strongly condemns these malicious acts. We advise authors and readers to remain vigilant against any fee requests made in JED’s name. If any such requests appear, authors should immediately inform the JED Editorial Office.
