ISSN: 1755-0750
eISSN: 1755-0769

Aims and scope

Ground Improvement publishes high quality peer-reviewed papers capturing new innovation, technological developments, practical applications and sustainability, in all aspects of ground improvement (including reinforcement and grouting).

The journal aims to provide a platform for dissemination and discussion of the latest ground improvement research and developments, covering a wide range of ground engineering and geoenvironmental applications. Published papers cover analytical advances, laboratory and field-based research and trials; also instrumented case histories and lessons learned from ground improvement projects. In particular they highlight the specific contribution made to development and advancement of understanding of a ground improvement process(es). They are relevant to ground engineering professionals, specialist contractors and academics involved in design and development, implementation, monitoring, testing and quality control aspects of ground improvement.

To submit a paper to this journal is free. Papers appear Ahead of Print (below) as soon as they are ready to be published. Ahead of print articles are fully citable using the DOI system.

Awards: Each year, the paper rated best by the Editorial Panel is given the ICE's Telford Premium.
