Infrastructure Asset Management (INAM) is pleased to announce the creation of an Early Career Reviewer Board.
About the journal
Infrastructure Asset Management (INAM) is an industry-facing multi-disciplinary journal publishing articles on the emerging aspects of asset management. It aims to publish peer reviewed works on all types of civil infrastructure assets both in the public and private domains, engaging academics, researchers, and industry practitioners to share new knowledge about practical solutions to current and future challenges.
INAM welcomes works on traditional areas of asset management such as policy and strategy development, condition assessment and work programming, delivery and performance management etc. The journal also encourages submissions about emerging areas such as whole of life management, sustainability and resilience improvements, asset vulnerability evaluation, carbon reduction, building information modelling (BIM), robotics and remote access tools, GIS based mapping, organisational reform, integrated assets, and risk and opportunity management.
The role of the Early Career Reviewer
As strong believers in positive change and impact, INAM decided to develop an Early Career Reviewer Board (ECRB) to give Early Career Researchers the means to participate within a journal publishing environment and to be involved in developing INAM for the community along with the Editor, Associate Editors and Editorial Board Members.
Selected applicants will be appointed to the ECRB for 2 years, after which there may be the opportunity to be appointed to the Editorial Board in consultation with the Editor-in-Chief. Each successful member will be expected to review 3 to 4 new papers per year. Guidance will be provided for the journal’s submission system, ReView.
