Achieving Value for Money Equilibrium

The podcast interviewed Andrew Quincey (Leeds Business School, England). Andrew published an editorial in the journal in December 2025, entitled 'Achieving Value for Money Equilibrium'. He discusses the relationship between effectiveness, efficiency, and economy, and how procurement departments can play a role in the achievement of EEE.

Social Value as Strategy in Public Sector Procurement

The podcast also interviewed Guy Battle, who is the CEO of the Social Value Portal. He also published an editorial in the journal in December 2025, entitled 'Social value as a lever for achieving value for money and community outcomes in procurement'. He discusses Social Value as an evaluation criterion in procurement, discussing the effect of the U.K. Social Value Act of 2012 and what suppliers can do to participate in the social value creation process.
