Professor David Loseby, Editor-in-Chief of JRPC

The list is compiled by taking a holistic measure of thought leadership and authentic influence, looking far beyond social media to identify the experts within CSR. Ranked 43 in the listing, David was recognised for his many roles as an academic, author and influencer, and his 30 years’ experience driving value and change through procurement, organisational transformation, and change management.

Reflecting on this recognition, David mentioned: “This came as a total surprise, but a pleasant one, having been an active promoter and enabler of CSR in my career across organisations such as the Social Value Portal, Rolls Royce plc. Halfords and many more. Procurement & Supply Chain professionals have a pivotal and unique role in this area and can have real impact.

David’s expert knowledge in this field will be crucial to the success of the Journal of Responsible Production and Consumption, a new, fully open access journal. The journal provides a home for research that focuses on all aspects of responsible production and consumption, that contributes to the progression of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), especially SDG 12.
