Time: 08: 30-10 AM (Indochina Time ICT/Hanoi time GMT+7), 30 November 2023

The Journal of Trade Science, in collaboration with the Center of Science and Technology Research and Development at Thuongmai University, will host an international seminar on “Publishing Innovative Research in “A” Level Journals: One Editor’s Insights” by Professor Jacqueline Eastman.

Professor Jacqueline Eastman is the Alico Chair of Marketing and an Eminent Scholar at Florida Gulf Coast University (Ph.D., Florida State University). Her research interests deal with the strategic application of consumer behaviour theory in the areas of luxury, sustainability, and technology. She currently serves as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Consumer Behaviour and sits on the Advisory Board of the Journal of Trade Science.

The seminar focuses on getting started with the research process and what editors are looking for with submissions. Then, it goes through the different elements of a manuscript and what are the factors within each element that increase the chance of a manuscript getting desk rejected. It finishes with a discussion of responding to reviews and being part of the journal process.

The seminar will be delivered in hybrid mode on Thursday, 30 November 2023 at 8:30-10 AM (Indochina Time ICT/Hanoi time GMT+7)
