Library Hi Tech (LHT) has recently established an Early Career Review Board and is pleased to announce a call for early career researchers and early career professionals to join this community of peer reviewers.
As an international journal focused on the management and use technologies in libraries and cultural heritage settings, Library Hi Tech recognizes the importance of nurturing the next generation of scholars and practitioners. We are committed to providing a platform where early career individuals can develop their editorial skills, gain insight into the publishing process, and contribute to the advancement of the field.
We welcome applications from:
- Early Career Researchers: Doctoral students, post-doctoral fellows, and faculty members within five years of completing their PhD.
- Early Career Professionals: Working information professionals, librarians, and technologists new to the field who have a strong interest in evidence-based practice and research.
We are looking for individuals with expertise in all aspects of the broad discipline of information science. We particularly welcome reviewers with interest and expertise in:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI): Including generative AI, machine learning, and AI ethics in information contexts
- Libraries, Archives, and Museums
- Data Literacy
- Data Analytics & Big Data
- Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and User Experience (UX)
Expectations
Reviewers are expected to provide constructive, timely, and objective feedback on manuscripts. On average, you may be invited to review 2–3 papers per year.

Please also mention your primary areas of research expertise.
