Leadership & Organization Development Journal is seeking a Social Media Editor to increase the journal's online presence, engagement, and impact. This is a voluntary position, offering the opportunity to immerse yourself in our journal, content and community.

About the Journal 

Leadership & Organization Development Journal (LODJ) explores the practical application of leadership and organization development theory in order to identify its relevance for managerial practice. It addresses a broad range of topics which are relevant to organizations and reflective of societal developments. The journal supports interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary approaches to the study of leadership and organization development and encourages original thinking which will contribute to knowledge and understanding in these areas.

Responsibilities

The Social Media Editor will be expected to assume the following responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a LinkedIn page for the journal, following Emerald’s guidelines and policies
  • Post regularly, highlighting content such as:
    • Newly published articles and issues
    • Author spotlights
    • Special issue call for papers
    • Team member conference attendance
  • Engage with relevant academics in the community

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be expected to satisfy the following criteria: 

  • A researcher in the relevant fields to LODJ
  • Familiar with LinkedIn
  • Strong English language skills
  • Creative and innovative

This position is open to candidates at any stage of their career. There is no financial remuneration for this role, but the role offers valuable opportunities for professional development, networking with and contributing to the scholarly community and working closely with the research being published in LODJ.
