Mental Health and Digital Technologies (MHDT) is a new international, multidisciplinary journal providing a forum for research and discussion on digital innovations and technologies for use in mental health care and training.

We are seeking new reviewers to join the journal’s database.

Review process

Reviews are performed on the ScholarOne Manuscripts submissions platform; it is easy to create an account here. When creating your profile, it is important to add in your areas of expertise to ensure you are invited to review appropriate manuscripts.

ScholarOne provides some guidance for new reviewers, which may help if you are new to reviewing and/or the ScholarOne platform.

Eligibility

The editors are particularly interested to hear from researchers and practitioners researching in or working on digital mental health care. 

Applicants should:

  • hold a research position, and/or possess relevant professional work experience that will allow them to give an evidence-based opinion and relevant feedback to authors;
  • ideally have published at least once in a peer-reviewed journal or presented and published conference papers or practitioner-oriented articles; and
  • have excellent command of English language with verbal and written fluency.

Requirements

  1. Reviewers may be requested to review manuscripts up to four times per year.
  2. Reviewers should return their reviews within 30 days.
  3. Reviewers should provide complete and detailed comments on submitted papers.
  4. Reviewers must not distribute any manuscripts reviewed or disclose information from the reviewed manuscripts.
