Mental Health Review Journal is inviting applications from researchers and professionals to join our editorial team as an Associate Editor.

Mental Health Review Journal is a vital source of current thinking on the research, policy and practice of mental health service delivery, bringing together research and practice perspectives.

About the role:

As an Associate Editor, you will play a vital role in helping to shape the journal’s future.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing peer review of manuscripts using our online submission system (ScholarOne)
Supporting authors and reviewers throughout the editorial process
Promoting the journal at conferences, workshops, and online platforms and to your networks
Advising the Editor by recommending manuscript decisions and contributing to journal development.

Who should apply:

We welcome applications from individuals who:

Hold a PhD or equivalent professional qualification in mental health, psychology,
psychiatry, social work, or a related field
Have experience as a peer reviewer or editorial board member
Have published in peer-reviewed journals so understand the publication process
Can provide fair, constructive feedback to authors
Are fluent in English and comfortable working with the ScholarOne system (training and guidance provided)

Term of appointment:
