Mental Health Review Journal is inviting applications from researchers and professionals to join our editorial team as an Associate Editor.

Mental Health Review Journal is a vital source of current thinking on the research, policy and practice of mental health service delivery, bringing together research and practice perspectives.

About the role:

As an Associate Editor, you will play a vital role in helping to shape the journal’s future.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing peer review of manuscripts using our online submission system (ScholarOne)
  • Supporting authors and reviewers throughout the editorial process
  • Promoting the journal at conferences, workshops, and online platforms and to your networks
  • Advising the Editor by recommending manuscript decisions and contributing to journal development.

Who should apply:

We welcome applications from individuals who:

  • Hold a PhD or equivalent professional qualification in mental health, psychology,
  • psychiatry, social work, or a related field
  • Have experience as a peer reviewer or editorial board member
  • Have published in peer-reviewed journals so understand the publication process
  • Can provide fair, constructive feedback to authors
  • Are fluent in English and comfortable working with the ScholarOne system (training and guidance provided)

Term of appointment:
