Mental Health Review Journal is a vital source of current thinking on the research, policy and practice of mental health service delivery, bringing together research and practice perspectives.

About the role:
As an Associate Editor, you will play a vital role in helping to shape the journal’s future.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing peer review of manuscripts using our online submission system (ScholarOne)
- Supporting authors and reviewers throughout the editorial process
- Promoting the journal at conferences, workshops, and online platforms and to your networks
- Advising the Editor by recommending manuscript decisions and contributing to journal development.
Who should apply:
We welcome applications from individuals who:
- Hold a PhD or equivalent professional qualification in mental health, psychology,
- psychiatry, social work, or a related field
- Have experience as a peer reviewer or editorial board member
- Have published in peer-reviewed journals so understand the publication process
- Can provide fair, constructive feedback to authors
- Are fluent in English and comfortable working with the ScholarOne system (training and guidance provided)

Term of appointment:
Successful candidates will be appointed for an initial term of 2 years, beginning in 2026.
