Management and Sustainability: An Arab Review (MSAR) journal is one of the 5 finalists on the level of Africa for the category of “SDG Initiative of the Year” Award (https://www.triple-e-awards.com/index/finalist/id/597) for the Accreditation Council for Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities (ACEEU: https://www.aceeu.org/) European Triple E Awards. The award recognizes an initiative that significantly differs from standard practice and creates exceptional results for the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN-SDGs). The initiative stands out from the crowd as it either addresses a difficult problem that was not satisfactorily resolved before, or it has been scaled and makes a far-reaching impact.

MSAR entry has presented the journal as a leading initiative in line with the UN-SDGs (https://www.emeraldgrouppublishing.com/journal/msar). Prof. Noha El-Bassiouny, co-editor-in-chief of MSAR, will receive the award on behalf of the journal board at La Salle University (Campus Barcelona, Spain) in June 2023 as part of the awards conference entitled “Entrepreneurial and Engaged Universities for Sustainable Development: Linking education, research and innovation for the SDGs" (https://www.triple-e-awards.com/index/ceremony).
