Virtual Special Issue: Indicative Papers

Sustainability Accounting, Management and Policy Journal

The Sustainability Accounting, Management and Policy Journal (SAMPJ) brings together research from a range of disciplinary approaches to address social and environmental sustainability challenges and the social and environmental consequences of climate change. SAMPJ seeks to contribute to practical and policy solutions to improve the impact of organizations and societies on sustainable development.

Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present, without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Submitted papers should address issues relevant to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

These papers are examples of the type of papers that the editorial team seek to publish in SAMPJ. They fit the key criteria we are seeking including that they:

  • Are aligned with the journal Aims and Scope.
  • Articulate how the research contributes to our understanding of social and environmental challenges and/or providing solutions to improve the impact of organisations and societies on sustainable development.
  • Draw out the practice, policy, and social implications of your findings.
  • Clearly articulate the contribution of your paper to the literature and how the paper builds on the contribution made in the prior literature. The contribution is novel.
