The CASE Journal 2024 Best Case Award

The CASE Journal

Emerald Publishing and The CASE Journal are pleased to announce the winners of the 2024 Best Case award.

Every year, the editorial team at The CASE Journal selects one case from the previous year's volume which they feel best demonstrated the aims of the journal. This case is announced at the Eastern Academy of Management (EOM) Annual Conference, and the authors awarded a prize of $1,000 for the contribution. This award is hosted in collaboration with our partner the CASE Association.

In 2024, TCJ was pleased to publish 66 cases from 14 different countries. While the quality of these cases made the decision quite difficult, the winner of the 2024 Best Case award is:

Netflix's growth in India on a slippery turf
Avil Saldanha, St Joseph's Institute of Management, India
Rekha Aranha, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), India

The editorial team would like to recognize two other cases as finalists:

First Runner-up: Tesla: route to India, route in India
Jagandeep Singh, Panjab University, India

Second Runner-up:
A different type of leadership style: Michael Jordan - a great void or a shooting star?
Irina Surdu, Warwick Business School, UK
Giulio Nardella, ESCP Business School, UK

Congratulations to all of our authors, as well as the many reviewers who generously shared their time and feedback with The CASE Journal. Your contributions are greatly appreciated.
