Emerald Publishing is proud to announce that it has been shortlisted for Academic, Educational and Professional Publisher of the Year in the annual British Book Awards.
Put together by the Bookseller and affectionately known as the Nibbies, the awards celebrate the best British writers, books, publishers and bookshops. The Nibbies have championed the book trade since 1990.
The judges highlighted some key moments from 2023, a pivotal year at Emerald, including our acquisition of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Publishing Portfolio. We were recognised, for the second year running, as a Flexa Certified Flexible Company with a score of 88%. 2023 also saw Emerald team up with Sage Publishing to increase the representation and public profile of women in social and behavioural sciences on Wikipedia.
See the full shortlist on the Bookseller’s website here.
Winners will be announced during the awards ceremony at Grosvenor House London on Monday 13th May.
