We have signed a supply agreement with El-Khazindar Business Research and Case Center (KCC) at The American University in Cairo (AUC) School of Business to include their teaching cases in our Emerging Markets Case Studies collection (EMCS).
Under the terms of the newly signed agreement El-Khazindar Business Research and Case Center (KCC) at AUC School of Business content will be made available to EMCS subscribers as well as the broader eCase collection, featuring teaching material licensed from global case method advocates, which enables tailored discussion based on student experience, expectation, and capability.
The agreement comes in line with KCC's drive to become the leading case development center in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and the primary link between academic research and practical applications, an aim that is mirorred by Emerald's focus on publishing case content that represents all regions.
Claire Jackson, Senior Publisher for Cases at Emerald, said: "It is important for us that we continue to build on the high standards of the eCase Collection by selecting partners that share our values. This content agreement is the first stage in what I look forward to being a long term and fruitful partnership between Emerald and KCC to promote the publication and promotion of high-quality teaching cases."
Nermeen Shehata, KCC director and assistant professor, Department of Accounting, AUC School of Business, commented: "we are delighted to partner with Emerald to have our teaching cases published in the Emerging Markets Case Studies Collection (EMCS). This partnership is the first phase of several upcoming agreements that support KCC commitment for development and usage of quality case studies as an experiential learning tool."
